Worcester Man Accused Of Selling Crack, Fentanyl: Police
Worcester police made a drug arrest Tuesday after an investigation near Mill Street.
WORCESTER, MA — A man in Worcester is facing drug charges after detectives saw what they believed was a drug deal on Mill Street.
Stephen Faro, 57, was arrested on drug distribution charges Tuesday. Worcester Vice Squad detectives said they observed a drug deal and followed Faro from Mill Street to Main Street, where he was removed from his vehicle.
Detectives found a bag containing several smaller baggies of crack cocaine and fentanyl, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Faro was charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B substance with intent to manufacture and distribution/manufacture of a Class B substance.
Class A and Class B distribution or manufacturing charges can carry penalties of up to 10 years in state prison, up to 2 1/2 years in jail or a house of correction, fines between $1,000 and $10,000 or both for a first offense, according to Massachusetts Law.
The man who bought the drugs was charged with possession of a Class B substance, according to police.
