Farmington Schools Event Provides Support for Grandparents

School psychologists will discuss children's development Feb. 14 at the Ten Mile Building.

Grandparents are invited to join the conversation as ' psychologists Suzanne Unger and Michael Forster discuss key points of Yardsticks, by Chip Wood, on Feb. 14, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ten Mile Building in Farmington.

With warmth and humor, Yardsticks offers clear descriptions of children's development from early childhood through the teenage years. The discussion will mirror the book's user-friendly format, clear descriptions of each age, and easy-to-read charts, identifying developmental "guideposts" in areas of physical, social, language and cognitive growth.
