Farmington Schools Kindergarten Registration Week Begins March 5
Parents should register their children at their home schools.

offers a free, full-day kindergarten program for its families, and registration for the 2012-2013 school year is open March 5-9, 2012.
While kindergarten registration can occur at any time, it is best for parents to register their child(ren) as early as possible. Registration for Kindergarten takes place at the child’s home school.
To register, parents are asked to bring a driver's license and proof of residency such as proof of ownership (deed) or closing documents if the home was recently purchased, current property tax statement, or lease/rental agreement with occupancy date including a list of all occupants. Also needed are any two of the following items: current gas, electric, telephone or cable bill. No water bill will be accepted for this criteria.

Due to the new legislation that states that school districts will only recieve full funding for those students in all-day Kindergarten, the District will not be offering a half-day Kindergarten program.
Information will be shared with new Kindergarten parents and their children on Friday, May 4 during Kindergarten Orientation Day. The orientation will be held in the morning at each elementary school. On this day, there will be no school for current Kindergarten students. Additional information regarding Kindergarten Orientation Day will be shared from each child’s home school.
