FPS Opens 20 Kindergarten Spots to Outside Enrollment
Students from outside the district may apply by 4 p.m. Aug. 26.
Farmington Public Schools has opened 20 spots at the kindergarten level for Section 105 Schools of Choice applications from Oakland County families through Friday, Aug. 26.
Openings are at , , and elementary schools. Final placement will be determined based upon staffing allocations, space availability, and the number of kindergarten applications received, according to a press release issued by the district.
Applications must be received to the Office of Student Support Services by 4 p.m. on Aug. 26; students will be notified of placement no later than Thursday, Sept. 1.
If the number of applications exceeds the number of spaces, the District will use a random draw to select the applicants, at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29 at the , 32500 Shiawassee St., Farmington.
Applications are available on the District's web site, farmington.k12.mi.us. Click on Quick Links on the left and scroll down to School of Choice options. Completed applications must be mailed or hand delivered to the Office of Student Support Services, 32500 Shiawassee, Farmington, MI 48336.
