Light Up The Night is a great Holiday Community Event sponsored by the 9 Mack Merchants Association. This year there will be a complimentary shuttle from the South Lake High School parking lot.Light Up The Night 2013 Features:
- Illuminated Walkway
- Christmas Sing-a-Long
- Ugly Sweater Contest
- Letters to Santa
- Strolling Singers
- Roasted Chestnuts
- South Lake High School Marching Band
- Dance Performances by Casali school of dance and by Mary Ellen School of dance.
Schedule of Events:
6pm: Light Up The Night will begin at 6pm with the South Lake High School Marching Band playing at the corner of 9 mile and Mack Ave.6:30pm: At 6:30pm, Mary Ellen School of dance will perform, followed by Casali School of Dance at 7pm.
7:30pm: The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7:30pm and will include a Christmas sing-a-long with South Lake Middle School Choir.
8pm: The Parade of Ugly Sweaters will take place at 8pm and Grosse Pointe
Theater Troupe shall perform scenes from White Christmas.
