Carolyn Jackson, Lobbying Coordinator with the ACLU-MN and an Edina resident will be speaking on 10/26. She was a stay-at-home mom when she joined the ACLU as a volunteer in 2002. Seeing the discrimination against Muslims and suppression of dissent in the wake of 9/11 prompted her to join the ACLU's "Safe and Free" work.
Ms. Jackson will touch on several items of current interest including Voter ID, the Marriage Amendment and will be answering questions from the audience.
