Lighthouse Night at Centennial Lakes Park

Please come to a relaxing evening watching the lighted up radio controlled boats owned by the Edina Model Yacht Club.

Lighthouse Night is a unique, one night event each year where boats from the Edina Model Yacht Club light up after dark. Interior cockpit and cabin lights, exterior lights, navigation running lights, search lights, and flood lights all shine bright on a variety of model boats.  A fully operational floating scale model of a lighthouse will be shining bright in the center of the pond.  At 6:00pm, casual open boating begins which will include a special model boat water skiing show.  At 8:30pm boat lights will be lit up on our special night-running fleet.

*Sunday, August 11, 2013
*Everyone is welcome to this free event
*At 8:30pm, the John Philip Sousa band performs, with a small   fireworks display on the water at the end of the concert
