Local leaders from Grow Omaha, Colliers, and other firms shared development insights, networking time, and details on UNO's real estate certificate, with another symposium already planned in coming months.
   

4. Omaha Veteran competes for national crown (wowt.com) — An Omaha Air Force veteran who once faced homelessness is now competing for the Ms. Veteran America national title to spotlight the struggles of homeless women veterans. Through the nonprofit Final Salute, she and past winners help raise funds for safe housing and support services, showing how Omaha voices are shaping a national conversation about veteran care.
   

5. Omaha Attracted 2.6 Million Visitors Back in 1898 (omaha.com) — North Omaha's Kountze Park once hosted the 1898 Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition, which drew 2.6 million visitors and helped reshape Omaha's image and infrastructure. Today, the park at 1920 Pinkney Street still anchors the neighborhood with sports fields, playgrounds, historical markers, and reminders of when Omaha briefly became a world's fair destination.
