13 Charged In Operation Granite Shield Drug Sweep
Bedford, Manchester, Deerfield, Raymond, and Warner residents were rounded up during 15 hours today in the Queen City.
MANCHESTER, NH — A multi-agency drug sweep today led to 13 arrests in Manchester, according to police. The Manchester Police Department Special Enforcement Division, in conjunction with New Hampshire State Police, the U.S. DEA, and Hillsborough County and Rockingham County Sheriffs, implemented the drug sweep between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2018, which led to guns, drugs, and crash being taken off the streets. The first arrest took place on Hall Street when a SWAT team conducted a search warrant and arrested Carlos Delgado, third row center, 28, after police allegedly found 30 grams of heroin, 18 grams of crack cocaine, an ounce of marijuana, as well as $447, and a Ruger 9 mm.

At just before 9 a.m., Arthur Lynch, 31, lower right, of Manchester, was arrested on Kenberma Street on a warrant for sale/manufacture of a controlled drug.

Darrell Scott, 33, upper right, of Deerfield, was arrested at just after 9:30 a.m. in the area of Amherst and Maple streets after a motor vehicle stop.
“Scott was charged with possession of controlled drug after the officers located .15 grams of crack cocaine inside his vehicle,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

At just before 11:30 a.m., Bobby Johnson, 36, first row lower middle, of Manchester, was arrested in the area of Amherst and Lincoln streets on several outstanding warrants for sale of a controlled drug. He was also allegedly in possession of 1 gram of crack cocaine and 0.7 grams of heroin.
About 10 minutes later, Amanda Taylor, 29, lower middle right, of Manchester, was arrested on an outstanding drug court warrant on Lincoln Street.
A Bedford man – Mark Loiselle, 32, second row bottom – was arrested in that community on a warrant for possession of a controlled drug at around noon.
Another man arrested at around noon was James Canney, 52, upper left, of Raymond, who was picked up on Amherst Street during a search of his home by a SWAT team. The warrant was issued out of Merrimack County Superior Court for controlled drug act.
Also, on Amherst Street, at around noon, Joseph Flynn, right middle, 52, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of sale of a controlled drug. At the time of the arrest, he was allegedly in possession of 0.6 grams of heroin and 0.9 grams of crack cocaine.
On North Bend Road, at around 4 p.m., Timothy Sowa, 28, second row top, of Manchester, was arrested after a wanted check at the home. He was allegedly found to be in possession of 1.1 grams crack cocaine and 27.4 grams of heroin, so he was additionally charged with two counts possession of controlled drug and the two drug related arrest warrants.
A motor vehicle stop in the area of Elm and Orange streets by detectives at just after 4:30 p.m. led to three more arrests, according to O’Keefe. Gerald Marsh, 21, lower left, of Warner, was arrested and charged with a Merrimack County drug warrant. A passenger in his vehicle, Rosalie Dirisio, 29, third row top, of Manchester, was allegedly in possession of 2.1 grams of heroin, so she was charged with possession of controlled drug. A rear passenger, Wayne Luce, 52, first row upper middle, of Manchester, was also arrested after he was allegedly found to be in possession of 6.1 grams of heroin.
At around 5:15 p.m., Tiffani Ulrich, 21, second row middle, of no fixed address, was arrested on a bench warrant on Willow Street.
All of the individuals arrested were held and will be arraigned tomorrow, according to police.
