Prostitution arrests, UFO sightings, a missing boy, and other stories were popular this year.

BEDFORD, NH — It was another busy year at the New Hampshire Patch.com network of news and community websites. Here are the most read stories for Bedford this year.
When a boy in nearby Manchester went missing, readers in Bedford and around the state helped out, with more than 38,000 people reading about the alert and nearly 6,000 liking it on Facebook. Eventually, the boy was, thankfully, found. A frozen vegetable contamination risk alert was also read by tens of thousands of readers in April. Two prostitution arrest stories in July, and a second one in July, as well UFO reports in Bedford – and around New Hampshire – in March, were also popular reads.
