Alleged Strangler, Drug Dealer, and Jewelry Thief Indicted

Numerous capital region residents were indicted in court after alleged crimes in Manchester, Hillsborough County.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North.

Edward D. Barton, 40, of School Street in Loudon, for possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, alleged on March 8, 2016, in Manchester.

Dale Carpenter, 45, of Zoski Road in Deering, for attempted second-degree assault by strangulation and domestic violence-deadly weapon, both felonies, as well as domestic violence-simple assault, simple assault, and criminal threatening. On July 6, 2016, in Deering, he allegedly pushed, kicked, and strangled a woman. Carpenter also allegedly pointed a shotgun at a previous intimate partner and threatened the person with it.

Raymond Horak, 55, of Gould Street in Henniker, for attempted to commit the crime of falsifying physical evidence, a felony, on July 5, 2016, in Antrim, for allegedly dropping a bag containing hydromorphone.

Jerel Johnson, 47, of Kings Row in Epsom, for forgery and receiving stolen property, both felonies. On July 25, 2016, he allegedly forged a check for $110 dollars at TD Bank in Manchester.

Michael MacMaster, 35, of Cartier Road in Manchester, formerly of Concord, for possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, with intent to distribute, and three counts of acts prohibited. He allegedly sold heroin and fentanyl to an individual working with the Manchester Police Department on Aug. 3, Aug. 4, and Sept. 8, 2016.

Jessica Sederquest, 37, of First NH Turnpike in Northwood, for theft by deception and receiving stolen property. In July 2016, she allegedly took possession of jewelry valued at more than $1,500.
