Arrest Made In Downtown Concord Store Robbery Case

CONCORD, NH — A former Bow resident accused of armed robberies in the southern part of New Hampshire faces another armed robbery charge in Concord. Matthew Roz, 41, currently homeless, was arrested Friday on an armed robbery charge. According to Lt. Michael Guarino of the Concord Police Department, Roz is accused of hitting the Quick Stop Convenience Store on Dec. 1, 2019.
"A male subject entered the store and brandished a handgun before fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash," Guarino said. "As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Roz."

Last month, Roz was arrested in Salem on armed robbery charges after incidents at stores in town on Dec. 7, and Dec. 9, 2019. He was arrested by Methuen police in Massachusetts on Dec. 12 on a fugitive from justice charge. Haverhill, MA, and Concord police also assisted Salem with its cases, according to Joel Dolan, the deputy chief of the Salem Police Department. Roz was indicted on the Salem robbery charges in January.
Roz is being held at the Merrimack County Jail. He's due to be arraigned Monday.
