ARRESTS: Failing to Stop for Pedestrians Leads to Alcohol, Drug Charges
Plus, elderly woman arrested after crash; woman allegedly assaults man, breaches bail after child exchange.

Shelby E. Weston, 48, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:28 p.m. on Aug. 22, on a bench warrant from Aug. 7, out of Concord District Court on a previous charge. Officers reportedly saw Weston “stumbling down the sidewalk” on South Commercial Street and checked to see if he had any warrants and he did. Weston was held without bail.
Randy H. Skillin, 35, of Penwood Drive in Concord, was arrested at 1:01 a.m. on Aug. 23, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. An officer on North Main Street saw a Chevrolet Cobalt pull a left hand, three point turn, crossing the yellow line and four lanes of traffic into a parking space outside of The Barley House Restaurant. The officer turned on the cruiser’s emergency lights and pull up to the vehicle. The driver, Skillin, reportedly stepped out of the car, despite being told not to three times, according to the report. When asked for his license and registration, he allegedly “appeared confused” and “very despondent,” while also having “water and red” eyes that were partially closed. “I explained to the operator my reason for stopping his vehicle and again requested his driver’s license and the vehicle’s registration,” the officer reported. “The operator again looked up at me with a blank stare, paused for several seconds before eventually leaning to his right to access the vehicle’s glove compartment.” Skillin was questioned about where he was coming from and how much he had to drink. He allegedly smelled like alcohol and spoke “slurred and thick tonged.” Skillin agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested. He was arraigned on Sept. 8.
Courtney Fontone, 28, of Hanover Street in Concord, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on Aug. 23, on a simple assault charge, and again at 3:43 p.m. on Aug. 24, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. Officers were called to CVS on Hall Street for a child custody issue with an alleged assault on Aug. 23. A man alleged that he was supposed to meet his wife, Fontone, and she was running late. After speaking with her on the phone, he alleged that “she said something like I am going to kill you; you’re going to end up dead,” and then the phone was disconnected. After Fontone arrived, the man stated he went to put their son in the car and she allegedly “came over and pushed him over while he was holding (the boy)” and then slapped him. She allegedly pushed him again and he went into the store to call police. A store manager later stated that the man came in and asked if there was video surveillance of the incident and Fontone allegedly followed him in and got behind him as he was calling police. She also allegedly “bumped” his hip one of the aisles, according to the employee. She later left the area and a sergeant found her on Thorndike Street near Rumford School. She reportedly denied assaulting the man but as taken into custody. The breach charge was based on an incident at The Draft on South Main Street at 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 23. Fontone had a court date on Sept. 29.

Sara Jane Darling, 70, of Guay Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:09 p.m. on Aug. 23, for following too closely and conduct after an accident after a crash on Aug. 15, at the intersection of West Street and Broadway. She was arraigned on Sept. 29.
John Gordon Crawford, 62, of Henniker Drive in Concord, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on Aug. 23, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court on Aug. 14, for a resisting charge.

Jennifer Leigh Lavoie, 37, of East Side Drive in Concord, was arrested at 6:06 p.m. on Aug. 23, on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Hooksett District Court on a conspiracy charge, with $1,722.50 cash to settle. She was also served with a domestic violation order.
Jason William McCormick, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23, on a bench warrant for nonappearance in Nashua District Court for criminal trespass.
Lucas M. Read, 20, of Hideaway Lane in Franklin, was arrested at 8:31 p.m. on Aug. 23, and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor. Also arrested were Brandon M. Henry, 19, of North Main Street in Wolfeboro, for possession of controlled drugs and unlawful possession of alcohol charges, and Jordan Ellis Riberdy, 21, of Winter Street in Tilton, for transportation of alcohol/open container and prohibited sales; alcohol beverages. While on bike patrol on North Main Street monitoring traffic, officers reportedly saw a vehicle with four subjects not stop for pedestrians in the middle of the crosswalk. The officers caught up with vehicle and requested that it pull over in front of the Holiday Inn and it did. The driver, Read, told the officers that he was heading back to Franklin after riding go-karts in Litchfield. One of the officers reported smelling alcohol from the vehicle and asked if anyone had been drinking and Riberdy reportedly raised his hand. The officer reportedly saw two open containers at his feet and another near a passenger’s foot. Under a towel between Riberdy and Henry was a six-pack of apple ale. Read, according to a report, denied consuming any alcohol, performed a field sobriety test and “showed no indication of impairment,” but was charged with possession and transportation. Henry was asked to step out of the vehicle and was charged with possession. Later, a smoking pipe with marijuana residue was allegedly found in his pocket. Riberdy was also arrested and charged.
Shane J. Kirouac, 27, of Green Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:18 a.m. on Aug. 24, on simple assault and criminal mischief charges. A sergeant and officers were sent to Green Street for a report of a fight involving several people. The four individuals were separated and Kirouac reportedly was slurring his speech and smelled like alcohol. He reportedly told the officer that he and his wife had “gotten drunk which led to an argument.” During the argument, she called him a name and Kirouac allegedly stated “that he didn’t think he should be disrespected in his house so he grabbed her right arm and pulled her cellphone away from her left hand,” according to the report. He then allegedly smashed the phone. Kirouac was arrested and arraigned on Sept. 29.
Todd Aaron Bulliner, 31, of Merrimack Street in Concord, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. on Aug. 24, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. An officer pulled Bulliner’s Honda Civic for reportedly going 48 mph in a 35 zone and having a cracked windshield. His license was suspended for nonpayment of fine on July 2, and had a prior operating after suspension from April 2, out of Hillsborough District Court.
