Car Strikes Utility Pole in West Concord
UPDATE: About seven customers without power in the city after crash on Little Pond Road.
Power was knocked out to 74 Unitil customers after a sedan crashed into a utility pole on Little Pond Road on June 30, 2015.
Concord Police were called to the crash at just before 3:30 p.m. just outside the entrance to the south side of the Granite Quarry on Rattlesnake Hill.
Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene to assist with the utility pole and check one of the vehicle’s passengers who all appeared to be uninjured. Two other vehicles were stationary in the middle of the road but it is unknown at post time if any of those vehicles were involved in the accident.

Police currently have traffic blocked off at Via Tranquilla on the west side and Pond Place Lane on the east side until the accident can be cleared.
It is unknown at press time exactly why the accident took place or how long it will be before power is restored to the area.

As of 4:45 p.m., about 158 Unitil customers are without power at this hour. At around 5:30 p.m., all but seven customers were without power.
