CONCORD, NH — A Chichester man, with a prior history of drug dealing and possession accusations, is facing more charges in Concord, according to police and court documents.

In September 2019, a sergeant and a detective with the Concord Police Department met with a cooperating individual to potentially identify "several sources for illegal drugs," including heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine, around the city. The individual, a court affidavit said, was "a tested informant" who had successfully worked with police during prior drug enforcement investigations.

During one of the operations, on Oct. 18, 2019, the informant arranged a purchase of 12 Adderall pills from Nathan Michael Bond for $80 on behalf of police, the affidavit said.

"X stated that per their arrangements, X would meet Bond at his residence in Concord, identified as (on) Longmeadow Drive, where the deal would be conducted," the detective wrote.

Functioning in an undercover capacity before the sale, the detective met with the informant, searched them, ensured they had no money, weapons, or contraband, and then wired the individual and gave him $80 in marked "buy funds." The individual "made a phone call to Bond to confirm the deal and location," the affidavit stated, while the detective "heard and recorded (it) while on speaker phone" through Facebook Messenger, "which I observed," the detective wrote.

The detective drove the informant to Longmeadow Drive and met with Bond and Tyler Paul, 27, of an unknown address, and "conducted the drug transaction directly with Paul with Bond's assistance," the affidavit stated.

The detective later confirmed the drugs as amphetamine and dextroamphetamine and identified Bond through his Facebook social media account and past booking photos, the report noted.

An arrest warrant was issued for Bond, 41, of Smith Sanborn Road in Chichester, on Jan. 10, and he was charged on April 2 on criminal liability for the conduct of another and two counts of sale of a controlled drug charges.

According to court documents, Bond had a video arraignment and bail hearing April 3 and refused a bail commissioner. A notice of intent, certification of chemical analysis, was issued April 7. Bond is due back in court for a dispositional conference on June 25.

Bond, according to past Patch posts, is no stranger to police. He was arrested on Rollins Street during a drug raid in April 2019. Bond was indicted in August 2019 on meth sales charges after incidents in Penacook and Boscawen in December 2018. At the time, he was out on bail after being charged in Merrimack County Superior Court on a prior drug charge.
