Concord Woman And Others Arrested On Drug Charges In Manchester
Early morning traffic stops by cops in the Queen City led to charges against Jennifer Ives, Felix Vargas, Juliet Mann, and Amanda Bowser.

MANCHESTER, NH — During the past 36 hours, three traffic stops by police in the Queen City led to drug charges against four people including a Concord woman on drug dealing charges.
On Monday, police were conducted surveillance in various parts of the city in an effort to "crack down on illegal drug activity in the city," according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.
Around 4:40 a.m., police stopped Jennifer Ives, 39, of Concord. After an investigation, she was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. Ives was accused of being in possession of crack cocaine, heroin-fentanyl, and morphine pills. She was released on personal recognizance bail with an unknown court date.

Tuesday, at just after midnight, police stopped another vehicle and arrested Juliet Mann, 25, of Manchester on a possession of crack cocaine charge. Also in the vehicle and arrested was Amanda Bowser, 26, of no fixed address in Manchester. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of gabapentin, and possession of clonazepam. Mann was released on personal recognizance bail with a future court date while Bowser was released on personal recognizance bail and is due for arraignment on Aug. 6.
Around 4:10 a.m. Tuesday, another vehicle was stopped by police. That stop and investigation led to two drug charges against Felix Vargas, 44, of Manchester, on possession of heroin-fentanyl and possession of crack cocaine. He was also released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court Aug. 6.

Ives, according to reports on Patch, is no stranger to police or courts. Last year, she was indicted in Merrimack County Superior Court on felony delivery of articles to prisoners and possession of fentanyl, diazepam, and gabapentin at the Shea Farm in Concord. In January 2017, she was accused of selling heroin in Nashua. She was arrested on a drug charge and a warrant during two sweeps of Manchester in January and May 2016. Bowser was arrested by Hooksett police on a drug charge in March.
