About two hours later, after being bailed out, according to a court affidavit, she allegedly returned to the home, a violation of her bail conditions.

Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the victim of the assault who stated that Corson was in one of the bedrooms, packing up some of her items. The officers went to speak with her and she reportedly stated that she didn’t think the victim was going to be home so she decided to return home and pack some things, according to the affidavit. Officers asked her to step outside while they checked the bail conditions and then, arrested her on a breach charge.

A little more than three weeks later, on May 27, officers were again called to the home for a report of a domestic disturbance with a family member reportedly running to a nearby home to call 911.

Three officers arrived at the scene and spoke with family members who alleged that Corson and a man had been “arguing all night” and that Corson “physically assaulted” the man. Officers went into the home to speak with the victim – who had “several deep scratches all over his face and neck” – and asked him to wait outside while they spoke Corson. She reportedly told police they had a verbal argument after he had returned home late from a bar but that it didn’t get physical, according to an affidavit.

Family members, however, reportedly told police that the victim and the woman were both out and came back and then, began arguing. The man attempted to leave the home, one family member noted, “but Elayne would not let him go and was blocking him with her body.” The witness added that Corson allegedly “was attacking (the victim) by scratching and clawing at his face.”

Other witnesses stated that Corson was allegedly attacking the man who was trying to leave the home.

Officers spoke with the victim who reportedly stated that he tried to leave before things got physical and she allegedly blocked his way. He then reportedly turned away, went to an air conditioner, in an effort to pull it out so he could leave, but he couldn’t fit out of the slot, the report noted. He then tried to leave again and even reportedly tried to move Corson out of a doorway to escape. When asked if he was then attacked, the victim stared at the floor and nodded in the affirmative, according to the report.

Corson was then arrested and charged with simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, false imprisonment, domestic violence-false imprisonment, obstructing the report of a crime or injury, and default or breach of bail conditions, and was held without bail.
