CRIME LOG: Woman Allegedly Slashes Man With Keys

Plus, homeless man pees on the wall at Margaritas and Manchester man with a handgun arrested on pot charge.

Nathan Tremblay, 21, of Amory Street in Manchester, was arrested at 3 p.m. on Aug. 10, on a possession of controlled drugs charge. An officer running radar on Clinton Street clocked a Chevrolet Malibu going 57 mph in a 35 mph zone and pulled the car over. The officer alleged that a person in the rear passenger seat was moving around out of view as if he was placing something in his pockets or the rear seat. As the officer walked toward the vehicle, he alleged that there was handgun on the rear right passenger seat. As the passenger, later identified as Tremblay, rolled the window down, the officer smelled marijuana coming from the car. Tremblay reportedly told the officer he wanted him to know that there was a 9mm in the vehicle and the officer secured it. The gun was checked and it had no hits with the NCIC, according to the report. Other officers arrived while the first officer spoke to the driver who stated he didn’t know if there was marijuana in the car and alleged that Tremblay had the gun holstered under his jacket before the officer pulled the vehicle over and he took it out so the officer knew he had it in the car. The driver reported gave consent to search the car and in Tremblay’s backpack, they allegedly found clear plastic bags and marijuana. Tremblay was arrested and arraigned on Sept. 15. As an addendum, the officer wrote that he would be seeking warrants against Tremblay for carrying a handgun without a license and sale of a controlled drug.

Paige Lucinda Spencer, 41, of Walker Street in Concord, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. on Aug. 10, on a simple assault charge. Officers were sent to a domestic on Walker Street after neighbors called 911. As the officers arrived, two men walked out of the home, one shirtless covered in scratch marks. The man alleged that Spencer had been gone from the home since 4:30 p.m. and returned intoxicated. When he asked where she had been, the two began to argue and she allegedly attempted to leave in her car. The man tried to stop her from leaving and she allegedly punched him in the face and started slashing at him with her keys. The man stated he didn’t want to press charges, according to the report. The other man stated that he was in his room and didn’t see the altercation. Another officer spoke with Spencer and alleged that she was “intoxicated and wouldn’t stand still.” She had a swollen eye but wouldn’t answer why it was swollen. Spencer later alleged that she had been grabbed by the hair and dragged inside by the man. When asked when it happened, she reportedly wouldn’t answer. Another person in the house, a woman, stated that Spencer had allegedly come home drunk and the man was upset that she was drinking and driving and he was trying to keep her from driving again. “She then told me that any marks (he) had on him were from Spencer defending herself,” the officer wrote. “(She) could not articulate why Spencer needed to defend herself.” After more discussion and taking pictures, Spencer was arrested. She was arraigned on Sept. 15.

Jami Longo, 28, of Chinook Trail in Sanborton, was arrested at 6:55 a.m. on Aug. 11, on a bench warrant. Longo turned herself in to police after allegedly violation a prevention order on Hall Street. A text message was taken as evidence. She also had a warrant for willful concealment out of Concord District Court. She was arraigned on Sept. 15.

Theodore C. Littlefield, 64, of Bog Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on Aug. 13, on a simple assault charge from Aug. 3, at the Makris Lobster and Steak House on Sheep Davis Road. Officers were called to the Salisbury Green Apartment on Loudon Road for a report of what sounded like a child being abused. The officers spoke to the caller and then made their way to the apartment. They spoke to Littlefield who reported that his grandson wouldn’t go to bed so he spanked him for being fresh. The officers checked on the boy and he was a sleep. A check of Littlefield though yielded a warrant and he was arrested. He’s due in court on Sept. 22.

Elie Kabenga, 33, of Parmenter Road in Concord, received a summons at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 14, on driving after revocation or suspension and allowing improper person to drive charges. An officer saw a Ford SUV swerve off the road twice on Pembroke Road and pulled the driver over. The driver had difficulty communicating with the officer but reportedly didn’t have a license and was being taught by the passenger, Kabenga. Kabenga, according to the officer, had a suspended license and registration from Aug. 10, due to an uninsured accident. He is due in court on Sept. 22.

Merrick Vanhoesen, 18, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 7:02 p.m. on Aug. 14, on a criminal mischief charge. Officers were sent to Downing Street for a domestic disturbance. After arriving, they spoke to Vanhoesen who didn’t want to talk, according to the report, but had a two-inch laceration on his arm. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to mend the wound. One of the officers saw glass on the porch and glass on the door which had been shattered. A woman later told police that the two had a verbal argument and when Vanhoesen, she shut and locked the door. He came back though and allegedly banged on the door, breaking the glass, which blew back into her face on the other side of the door. Medics helped to mend her injuries, including glass in her eye. Both were taken to the hospital. At the hospital, Vanhoesen refused to speak about the incident and when he was medically cleared, was arrested. He has a court date on Sept. 22.

Richard Ruddy, 25, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. on Aug. 14, and charged with criminal trespass and two counts of criminal mischief. Officers and a sergeant were sent to the Capital Deli for a report of a disturbance. They found two men who were involved in an altercation after one of the men allegedly saw Ruddy rifling through his friend’s Mazda RX-8. The man stated that he went out to his car and saw Ruddy allegedly going through his friend’s car. The owner of the car, a woman, stated that she heard from her friend that someone was going through the car and went to find out what was going on. While the officers were gathering information, the man began to become agitated and Ruddy was taken into custody. Ruddy was allegedly intoxicated and slurring his words. The officer began to question him about the incident and Ruddy reportedly claimed his rights were being infringed. He was arraigned on Sept. 22.

Devin Aaron Baillie, 36, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. on Aug. 15, on a public disposal of human waste, city ordinance violation. Officers on bike patrol downtown when they received a call about a man urinating on the wall outside Margaritas in Bicentennial Square. The officers got to the restaurant and met with a suspect who was sitting on the steps. The man, Baillie, was reportedly slurring his words and couldn’t keep his eyes open. He allegedly denied peeing on the wall. One of the officers went to speak to the witness who identified Baillie as the person who urinated on the building and a tree. Baillie was arrested and refused bail.

Johnathan A. Evans, 24, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9 p.m. on Aug. 16, on prohibited sales; alcoholic beverages and possession of alcoholic beverages, public property charge. Benjamin Berry, 20, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 16, on a possession of alcoholic beverages, public property charge. Jacob May, 19, was also charged. A 17-year-old girl was taken into protective custody. Officers were sent to the Capitol Commons Garage for a report of numerous people drinking in the garage. The officers found the individuals on the fifth floor stairwell reportedly drinking. Three were underage and Evans allegedly told police that it wasn’t his responsibility if they were drinking his beer. He was arrested. The others were given summonses.
