Colton James Squeglia, 18, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. on Aug. 25, on an unlawful possession of alcohol and resisting arrest or detention charges. While on foot patrol on Old Suncook Road, an officer ran into four males congregating near an apartment building. The officer asked what was going on and one of the four, later identified as Squeglia, reportedly began to walk away. He was told to stop and sit and he did. One of the other guys stated that they were out at a club earlier and were now just hanging around. Squeglia reportedly remained silent but later, began talking and displayed “several signs indicative of alcohol impairment.” The others were over 21. The officer continued to question Squeglia and he allegedly became “increasingly uncooperative, hostile, and aggressive,” and was told he was under arrest. He allegedly refused to go to the patrol car and was told that he would be charged with resisting if he didn’t. He allegedly refused saying, “F--- you, you f------ c---. Officers were sent to West Street, the parking lot of the New Hampshire Employment Security office, for a report of a domestic. Officers spoke to a woman who immediately started ranting about hating cops because they only made things worse. They were able to calm her down and found out that she was mad because her boyfriend, Robbins, was speaking with an ex-girlfriend. The two were also fighting about money with Robbins reportedly telling the woman she didn’t save enough and the woman telling Robbins that he didn’t even have a job. “(She) stated they have been in a relationship for approximately 11 months and she has tried to get Robbins to work,” the reported stated. “(She) stated she brings him applications but that he always loses them.” She denied that the fight was physical. Robbins also stated the argument was verbal but dispatch advised that he had an active warrant from Aug. 14, out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of a fine, $329, on a possession of controlled drugs charge. A witness alleged hearing yelling outside his apartment and it appeared as if the woman tried to leave several times but Robbins alleged wouldn’t let her, grabbing her by the shoulders.
