First-Degree Assault And Home Invasion Suspect Wanted By Marshals
Willem Wonsang is accused of failing to appear in superior court on assault, burglary charges. Marshals caution he has "violent tendencies."

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is attempting to locate a home invasion suspect wanted on multiple assault and burglary charges who is accused of failing to appear in court. Willem Wonsang is 45, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, and weighs around 175 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair.
Wonsang, who is originally from New York, has cross tattoos on his right hand and right shoulder, a cobra tattoo on his right shoulder, and tattoos on his right wrist, too.
The warrant for Wonsang's arrest was issued on Dec. 10, 2019, out of Sullivan County Superior Court. He is wanted on one count of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, and two counts of burglary, all felonies.

"Wonsang was last known to reside in Manchester, NH, where he has ties to friends and associates," said Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.
Marshals have issued also issued a "violent tendencies" warning on Wonsang. He is accused of being involved in a home invasion on Jewett Road in Langdon in September 2018. According to the New Hampshire State Police and press reports, he burglarized a residence, hit the owner of the home over the head with a shovel, and threatened to kill him. He was also accused of threatening a neighbor when she came out of her home after hearing the commotion. A statewide "wanted subjects" alert was issued by state police not long after the incident and he surrendered to Manchester police about a week later, according to the Keene Sentinel.

Wonsang was indicted on the charges in November 2018, the Argus Champion stated on its website last year. Lenny Alvarez and Tiffany Dyer were also accused of being accomplices in the incident.
In July 2016, Wonsang was arrested on a bench warrant by state police in Manchester. In May 2015, while a resident of Lynn, Massachusetts, he was arrested in Windham on operating without a valid license, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, manufacturing/selling official inspection or registration stickers, and suspension of vehicle registration charges, according to The Derry News. In November 2011, he was arrested on a suspended license charge after a traffic stop on Route 9 in Wellesley, MA, according to a post on Patch.
