A woman alleged that she was at the Kitchen when McCormick reportedly showed up. Officers spoke with a second man who stated that he and McCormick had arrived to grab some dinner but staffers at the Kitchen told them to wait until the woman finished eating. McCormick reportedly left the Kitchen and went to wait in a vehicle.

The man went to speak with the woman, stating that he and McCormick were there to eat, and she called police.
When speaking with McCormick and the other man, they stated that they believed the vehicle was more than 500 feet from the woman. McCormick “also added that he did not see or talk to (the woman),” according to the report.

The officer eyed a copy of the order that McCormick reportedly had and then, looked at the distance between the vehicle and the Kitchen and estimated that it was about 250 feet, not 500.
On Jan. 8, the officer received a copy of the protective order to confirm that it was active and then, used a GIS map to measure the distance of the vehicle to the Kitchen and found that it was 287 feet.
On Feb. 12, a DVO violation charge was issued against McCormick.
About two weeks later, on Feb. 27, officers were sent to a store on Loudon Road for another report of a violation.
In the second case, the victim was at her job and when she came out to the registers to work, McCormick was allegedly standing between the registers.
“She stated that he did leave after seeing her,” the officer alleged, “but that he came back in again.”
McCormick had left the store by the time police arrived. When the reporting officer called him, he reportedly stated that he didn’t know she worked at the store and when he saw her, he left. The officer requested that McCormick come down to headquarters and then, called the woman back.
When asked if she knew if McCormick knew she worked there, and she said she didn’t know but she had been working there for months.
McCormick was arrested and when questioned, he reportedly stated that he left the store but then, returned, to get his cellphone and keys from a friend, according to the affidavit.
Previously, McCormick was arrested in April 2016, a bench warrant out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of fines on a willful concealment charge from July 2015. In November 2017, he was arrested on three counts of criminal mischief-vandalism, criminal threatening, and domestic violence-criminal threatening after an alleged incident on Clinton Street.
