Two were caught allegedly looking in car windows in Manchester, according to police.

Two local men face prowling charges after allegedly looking in windows early this morning in the Queen City, according to a report.

Hunter Bessette, 18, of Hooksett, pictured left, was arrested and charged with prowling, resisting arrest or detention, and violation of bail. Curtis Tremblay, 20, also of Hooksett, was given a summons for prowling. He’s due in court on June 9.

According to police, an officer was called to the area of Chestnut and West Clarke streets for a report of a group of men riding bikes in the area and peering into car windows.

Officers responded to the area and continued patrols throughout the North End since there have been a number of thefts from motor vehicles recently, according to police.

At around 2:45 a.m., an officer spotted four individuals on bikes and another on foot and pulled up to the group. When the officer turned on the cruiser’s emergency lights, “the subjects dropped their bicycles and started to run toward Walnut Street,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
