Illegal Immigrant from France Tried to Obtain NH License: NHSP

CONCORD, NH — A man from France who has been the United States illegally was arrested on Friday after reportedly acting suspiciously in a Nashua DMV location, according to state police. Shtain Gbalanga, 21, of Barrington, was arrested on May 5, 2017, for tampering with public records and unsworn falsification. Troop G troopers were called to the DMV after Gbalanga allegedly presented suspicious paperwork during the process of trying to obtain a New Hampshire driver's license.

“Troopers learned that Mr. Gbalanga claimed to live in Barrington, NH, however was a citizen from the country of France,” according to Det. Sgt. David McCormack of the NHSP. “Agents from the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement were contacted and with their assistance, it was discovered that Mr. Gbalanga was in the country illegally.”

Gbalanga was arrested and held in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections on $5,000 cash bail. He’s scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 8.

Brian Parmenter, 25, of Fryeburg, ME, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on April 12, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug. He was arrested on I-95 North in Portsmouth.

Jesse Berthe, 37, of Salem, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. on April 12, 2017, for violation of probation or parole, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, and disobeying an officer on I-95 North in Portsmouth.

Andrea Landi, 21, of Rochester, was arrested at 11 p.m. on April 11, 2017, for driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent on the Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth.

Ramone Savoury, 27, of Edgartown, MA, was arrested at 7:31 a.m. on April 9, 2017, for reckless operation on I-95 in Hampton.

Chad Pope, 35, of Willimantic, CT, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on April 8, 2017, for DUI and DUI – adult greater than 0.08 on I-95 South in Portsmouth.

Chhorvorn Ream, 28, of Lynn, MA, was arrested at 4:47 a.m. on April 8, 2017, for DUI and DUI – adult greater than 0.08 on Route 101 Westbound in Brentwood.

Brandon Jones, 52, of Dover, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. on April 8, 2017, for DUI. He was arrested on Route 16 North in Portsmouth.

Brandon Smith, 21, of Derry, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on April 21, 2017, on a bench warrant after a stop on I-93 North in Londonderry.

David Hamilton, 18, of Manchester, was arrested at 10:59 a.m. on April 21, 2017, for simple assault on North River Road in Manchester.

Helio Correa, 38, in Lowell, MA, was arrested at 8:11 a.m. on April 21, 2017, for operating without a valid license on I-93 North near Exit 4 in Londonderry.

Tabraiz Shaikh, 22, of Salem, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. on April 21, 2017, for DUI on I-93 South in Salem.

Brandon Tribandis, 18, of Manchester, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on April 20, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, operating with a valid license, and littering. He was arrested on Main Street in Salem.

Brianna Lundberg, 19, of Malden, MA, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. on April 19, 2017, for operating without a valid license. She was arrested on I-93 in Londonderry.

A 15-year-old was arrested at 1:20 a.m. on April 19, 2017, for speeding 26+ mph over 55 limit and operating without a valid license on I-293 South in Manchester.

Jonathan Murphy, 28, of Raymon, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. on April 18, 2017, for suspension of vehicle registration and driving after revocation or suspension on I-93 North in Londonderry.

Liza McInnis, 61, of Manchester, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. on April 16, 2017, for DUI on I-93 North at the Hooksett tolls.

Echezona Okpala, 25, of Manchester, was arrested at 6:13 a.m. on April 16, 2017, for reckless operation and operating with an expired license on I-93 North in Salem.

David Portillo, 41, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. on April 15, 2017, for driving after revocation or suspension on I-93 South in Windham.

Fred Soberon, 34, of Manchester, was arrested at 9:26 p.m. on April 15, 2017, for DUI and open container on I-93 South in Derry.

James Marrama, 52, of Amesbury, MA, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. on April 15, 2017, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspension of vehicle registration. He was arrested on I-293 in Manchester.

Wade Greenwood, 22, of Lebanon, was arrested at 11:12 p.m. on April 12, 2017, for DUI, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, uninspected vehicle, speeding 16 to 20 over the 65 limit, and yellow/solid line violation. He was arrested on I-89 South in Grantham.

Gary Sewell, 35, of West Lebanon, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. on April 12, 2017, for uninspected vehicle and driving after revocation or suspension. He was arrested on I-89 South in Grantham.

Jordan Johnson, 24, of Franklin, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. on April 11, 2017, on a bench warrant on Route 3 in Tilton.

Michael Clarke, 18, of Manchester, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on April 10, 2017, on a bench warrant after a stop on I-93 South in Bow.

Dominique Diamantides, 22, of Providence, RI, was arrested at 11:52 a.m. on April 10, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle on I-89 South in Sutton.

Oliver Cromwell, 33, of Halifax, MA, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on April 10, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle. He was arrested on I-93 North in Northfield.

Gary Grund, 62, of Boscawen, was arrested at 6 a.m. on April 10, 2017, for domestic violence-simple assault and criminal mischief on Chandler Street in Boscawen.

Anani Aboussa, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on April 9, 2017, on two counts of disorderly conduct on Main Street in Concord.

Meni Troupakis, 47, of Manchester, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. on April 7, 2017, for DUI on I-93 South in Bow.

Jose Lopez, 31, of Springfield, MA, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. on April 7, 2017, for speeding 16-20 mph over 70 limit, possession of controlled drugs-marijuana, and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle on I-93 North in Northfield.

Rebecca Gale, 21, of Everett, MA, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on April 10, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug and two counts of controlled drug: controlled premises where drugs kept on Route 16 in Chocorua. Also arrested was Logan Pierre, 25, of Malden, MA, for possession of a controlled drug, open container, and possession of a controlled drug-cocaine less than a half ounce.

Joshua Jackson, 24, of Conway, was arrested at 11:01 p.m. on April 8, 2017, for criminal threatening and criminal mischief on Gardner Hill Road in Tamworth.

Craig Ferrari, 27, of Plymouth, MA, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. on April 7, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana on Route 16 in Albany.

Anne McCandless, 38, of Glen, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on April 9, for DUI on I-93 South in Littleton.

Michael Hoey, 19, of Sanbornton, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. on April 7, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, and duty when approaching highway emergency on I-93 North in Ashland.
