Lakes Region Fugitive Surrenders To U.S. District Court
U.S. Marshals: After hearing that his fugitive information was online, Jeffrey Paul Tarallo did "the right thing" and turned himself in.

CONCORD, NH — A Lakes Region fugitive surrendered to the U.S. District Court in Concord Wednesday on a supervised release violation warrant. Jeffrey Paul Tarallo, 52, was previously convicted and sentenced on a making false statements during the acquisition of a firearm charge. The federal warrant for his arrest was issued late last month.
After being highlighted in the Fugitive of the Week feature, Tarallo was contacted by several people letting him know about the outstanding warrant, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. He then contacted his probation officer and stated he would surrender to the court, which Tarallo did and was later, arraigned.
"As part of the weekly radio show, we greatly encourage people to do the right thing and surrender when they learn they have an outstanding warrant," White said. "Generally speaking, warrants do not go away. Warrants need to be resolved in court and that can usually only be done in the presence of the wanted person. The court does look at surrendering in a positive light and will often take that into consideration when determining if a person is eligible for bail. We would like to thank Mr. Tarallo for doing the right thing in an effort to get this matter resolved."
