Long-Time Concord City Councilor In Ward 7 Faces A Challenger: Watch

CONCORD, NH — For 18 years, Keith Nyhan, an examiner with the New Hampshire Insurance Department, has been the Ward 7 Concord City Councilor.

He has been challenged only a couple of times during that time. In 2023, retired physician Jim Schlosser is running against him.

The two candidates appeared at a debate sponsored by Concord NH Patch, Concord TV, and the New England Take podcast in the Concord TV studios.

The candidates spoke about housing, crime, solid waste, changes in the city council after this election, a new clubhouse for the Beaver Meadow Golf Course, and other issues facing the city.
