Manchester Felon Accused Of Driving Stolen Vehicle On Train Tracks
Shauna Iudice, formerly of Concord, faces deadly weapon, stolen property, reckless operation, and other charges after a police chase Monday.

HOOKSETT, NH — A felon from Manchester is facing more charges after being accused of stealing a vehicle in Manchester, driving recklessly, and even attempting to escape from police by driving the vehicle on train tracks on Monday.
Around 5 p.m., an officer was patrolling Walmart when he saw a woman acting suspiciously inside a vehicle. The officer ran the vehicle registration and found it stolen from Manchester. The officer turned around, but the vehicle had exited the parking lot.
A second officer, searching for the vehicle, found it on West River Road near Cross Road and tried to stop it, but the driver, later identified as Shauna Iudice, 36, of Manchester, “refused to stop and began traveling in the opposite lane of travel on West River Road to elude police,” police said.

The officer ended the chase but continued to look for the vehicle. Later, they found it on Riverside Street. When the driver saw the officer, she was accused of driving the vehicle across the railroad trestle that crosses the Merrimack River. The vehicle stopped when it became disabled on the train tracks on the other side, police said.
Iudice was accused of fleeing the area.

Hooksett police K-9 “Timber” and its officer began to track Iudice and found her as she entered the bathroom at Donati Park, police said.
Iudice was accused of refusing to exit the bathroom at first. Later, she surrendered to police, a report stated.
Iudice was arrested and charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and receiving stolen property-$1,501+ charges, both felonies, as well as disobeying a police officer, driving after revocation or suspension, conduct after an accident, resisting arrest or detention, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle charges. She was held on preventive detention and arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on Tuesday.
Iudice, who previously lived in Concord as well as Peabody, and Salem, Massachusetts, is a felon due to a crack cocaine possession conviction out of Salem District Court in Mass. in August 2012. She was also convicted of identity fraud and cocaine possession charges in May 2015 after incidents in Manchester and Nashua. In November 2018, she was found guilty on a felony theft charge, due to two previous thefts, as well as driving while intoxicated and controlled drug act: acts prohibited, after two incidents in Manchester. Iudice was also convicted on a controlled drug act: acts prohibited charge out of Concord in September 2020.
Hooksett police said New Hampshire State Police troopers and Bow police assisted with the case.
