Police were sent to the CVS on Hall Street for a report of two people passed out inside of a vehicle in the parking lot, according to an affidavit. When they arrived, they woke up the pair and requested that they get out of the vehicle.

“As I passed the vehicle on the passenger’s side,” the reporting officer noted, “I observed a small baggie with a white powdery substance on the passenger’s seat.”

The reporting officer believed that the powder was heroin or fentanyl, according to the report.

The officer spoke to the individuals – Tarbox and Labonte – and they allegedly denied that there were drugs in the vehicle. When questioned about the baggie, Tarbox reportedly denied knowledge of it in the car. Labonte also allegedly claimed he didn’t see a baggie.

Tarbox – who was the driver – was out on bail after being arrested on Feb. 23, on a theft charge that occurred at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road, according to dispatch. She was asked to approve of a consent search of the vehicle and reportedly began to cry.

“What do you want me to say?,” she allegedly stated.

Labonte then reportedly admitted that the baggie was his and he was arrested. Tarbox was then charged, too.

Tarbox’s bail was set at $500 cash and she was held and arraigned on March 9.

Previously, according to posts on Patch, Tarbox has been arrested for simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, receiving stolen property, theft, willful concealment, and default or breach of bail conditions.
