HOOKSETT, NH — A capital region man accused of dealing methamphetamine was arrested on a drug possession in Hooksett Wednesday.

According to police, on June 6, an officer stopped a motor vehicle for a line violation in the road and spoke with the driver, Ryan Emmett, 42, of Pembroke, and he was arrested on a warrant. During an inventory of the car, according to Sgt. Joseph Ducharme of the Hooksett Police Department, Emmett was accused of being in possession of a syringe with an unknown substance.

"A search warrant for the vehicle was then completed, approved, and a thorough search of the vehicle was conducted," Ducharme said. "Additional syringes with the same substance were located. Emmett later admitted that the syringes were his. A lab test revealed that the syringes contained methamphetamine."
