On the Seacoast, forecasters are warning of “minor to moderate coastal flooding” during the Tuesday afternoon tide.

“This system will bring increased wave action with the greatest threat along the NH Seacoast,” the flood alert stated.

Residents should expect road closures, shoreline erosion, and possible power outages.

“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed,” the alert stated. “Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.”

If you’re traveling into Boston on Tuesday, expect 8 to 12 inches in the northeastern part of Massachusetts.
