Rapper Facing Shooting Charges Accused Of Stiffing Concord Eatery
Months before a robbery and shooting in Goffstown, Robert Young of Manchester ate at the Red Arrow Diner, was accused of not paying the tab.
CONCORD, NH — A Manchester rapper, who is facing first-degree assault and robbery charges after a shooting in Goffstown in 2020, was arrested last month connected to an incident in Concord before the shooting incident, an accusation of stiffing a local waitress.
On March 8, 2020, an officer was sent to the Red Arrow Diner on Loudon Road for a theft of services report. The officer met with the restaurant manager who accused three people of not paying for meal the day before — leaving a $1 bill on a $50.48 tab.
The manager had video footage of the suspects as well as a vehicle registration. The officer eyed the security footage, saw the entire process of a couple and another man, all Caucasian, entering the restaurant and sitting down to eat. The officer noted, from the footage, it did not appear as if there were trying to steal meals or there was a problem with any of them not having money for the bill, a report stated.

After the meals were eaten, the couple left and the man, later identified as Robert Young, 26, of Bodwell Road in Manchester, was seen "looking at the bill" and then placing "a single bill of currency" on the table and leaving, an affidavit said.
"He quickly got up from the booth and exited the restaurant," the affidavit stated.

Later that day, the officer was able to track the couple to Bow and spoke with them about the unpaid bill. They said Young, a friend, said he would pick up the tab, the report said. The man said Young was a rapper who posted his music on Facebook and they were followers and wanted to meet him. During the past couple of weeks, they were hanging out, he said.
After eating at the Red Arrow, when it was time to pay the bill, "Young told them to wait outside and he would be out shortly after paying the bill," according to the affidavit.
A few days later, the officer made contact with Young by phone about the unpaid restaurant bill. Young, the affidavit stated, said he agreed to pay the bill and thought he had placed a $100 bill on the table and was going to give the waitress a $50 tip. He was asked if the couple were involved in the incident and Young said it was "all him," the affidavit said.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on March 23, 2020. Young was charged on Feb. 7 with theft of services.
Four months after the stiffed meal tab, Young was arrested on conspiracy to commit armed robbery and accomplice to commit first-degree assault charges after an incident in Goffstown. Three other men were also arrested.
Young was charged after police were sent to a shooting incident on Mountain Road on July 16. He currently has active charges of first-degree assault with a firearm-criminal liability for the conduct of another, conspiracy of robbery with a firearm, and conspiracy of robbery. Young has a pretrial conference hearing on March 31 with jury selection scheduled to be on May 3 in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
Abdiwahab "Abdi" Kolomba, 22, also of Manchester, another man accused of being involved in the Goffstown incident, has jury selection in court on June 9 on second-degree murder, two first-degree assault with firearm charges, two robbery charges, two reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges, and a criminal threatening with a firearm charge.
Dahir Khamis, 20, of Manchester, who faces first-degree assault, robbery, criminal threatening, and conduct charges was to have jury selection start Wednesday but instead, a competency hearing has been scheduled for May 27.
Domenic Vitello of Sandown, who is 20, and faces reckless conduct as well as first- and second-degree assault charges, has a status conference on April 22 with a pretrial conference slated for Aug. 5.
