T-Bones Restaurant Could Be Coming To Concord

The popular eatery could be part of the new Tru Hotel site on South Main Street, according to paperwork filed with the planning department.

CONCORD, NH — T-Bones, a New Hampshire-based restaurant, could be coming to Concord, according to plans filed with the city’s planning department. Capital Hotel Company VI has filed site paperwork with the city for a 9,900 square feet restaurant and patio to go with the new Tru by Hilton hotel, planned for South Main Street. The plans for the restaurant feature T-Bones branding and color scheme.

Concord’s Architectural Design Review Committee will eye the plans on April 30.

When constructed, Tru will feature a four-story, 85-room hotel and the sit-down restaurant on the southeastern side of the site. It’s expected to be open next year.

The project – the former location of the Days Inn off Exit 12, which was demolished earlier this year – is owned by The Duprey Companies. The company purchased the hotel – which was known for witty sayings and riddles on its signage as well as being a hot spot for drug and criminal activity – in 2015 for $3.175 million, according to the online assessing database.

The Days Inn was a 40-room motel constructed in 1965, meaning Tru will be nearly double the previous building.
