U.S. Marshals Searching For ‘Armed And Dangerous’ Burglary Suspect In NH

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public’s help finding an armed burglary suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Melvin James Campbell IV is 21, is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He has blue eyes and black hair. Campbell has a tattoo on his left shoulder of the word “Dahlia.” Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said he sometimes uses the alias “Sasu.”

“Campbell is being sought on a warrant for burglary with a firearm charge from an incident that occurred in March 2022,” he said. “Campbell has a history of arrests, including robbery, drug possession, falsifying physical evidence, and resisting arrest. Campbell has ties to Nashua, Manchester, and Rhode Island areas.”

White said Campbell should be considered “armed and dangerous” based on the current charges and previous accusations. The warrant against him was issued on May 22.

According to superior court records, Campbell was accused of armed robbery in February 2019 in Nashua, but the charge was nolled prossed later. In June 2019, the charges were returned but dismissed during a dispositional conference.

Campbell was accused of two drug possession charges in September 2019 in Nashua and found guilty on one of the charges. In June 2020, he pleaded guilty to marijuana possession out of Nashua.

In October 2019, again in Nashua, Campbell was arrested for receiving stolen property-stolen firearm, falsifying physical evidence, and resisting arrest. He pleaded guilty to all the charges in June 2020. He was accused of violating probation in June, and a warrant for his arrest was issued on June 23.
