Concord Police allege she also set off fire alarms.

Cynthia D. Saxon Hoffman, 48, of Concord, was arrested on Dec. 27, and Jan. 3, on various charges.

In the Dec. 27, incident, according to Concord Police arrest reports, police were called to Concord Hospital at 3 a.m. where security had Hoffman in custody on an active warrant for three counts of false fire alarm; aiding/abetting from an incident on Dec. 18. She was arrested, refused bail, and was taken to the Merrimack County jail. She was arraigned later that day.

The next week, officers were called to 154 N. Main St. for a report of an unwanted guest in an apartment at around 9 p.m. on Jan. 3. An apartment dweller reported that Saxon Hoffman was “no longer welcome in his apartment” and wouldn’t leave.

One of the officers knew that Saxon Hoffman was out on bail so a copy of her bail conditions were requested from dispatch.

Officers went up to the apartment and were verbally welcomed in by the apartment tenant who was sitting on a couch while Saxon Hoffman was reportedly sitting on another couch.

The reporting officer noted that he was “familiar with both” of them due to prior contacts. The reporting officer alleged that Saxon Hoffman was holding a can of Natural Ice beer, a violation of her bail conditions. There was another can on a coffee table directly in front of her, the officer reported.

After some interaction with Saxon Hoffman, including an alleged denial on her part that she was holding a beer can, she was arrested on a default or breach of bail conditions charge and removed from the apartment. She refused bail and was arraigned on Jan. 4.
