Goffstown Woman, Woburn Man, Others Busted On Drug Charges
Manchester police arrest four people on drug and weapon charges while monitoring illegal drug activity in parks and near shelters Thursday.

MANCHESTER, NH — The street crime unit of New Hampshire's largest city were busy Thursday monitoring city parks and areas near shelters for illegally activity which led to the arrest of four people. While in Bronstein Park, detectives encountered Brianna Sargent, 21, of Goffstown, and during the course of an investigation, accused her of being in possession of crack cocaine. She was arrested on a single controlled drug charge and was later, released on personal recognizance bail.
Samuel Parodi, 38, a homeless man now located in Manchester, pictured upper right, was in Veterans Park and eventually arrested on a controlled drug charge, accused of being in possession of a syringe loaded with heroin/fentanyl, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department. He was also released on personal recognizance bail after being arrested.
During another interaction, this time, in Wagner Park, police met with Matthew Jacobsen, 28, lower left, of Woburn, Massachusetts. After an investigation, he was also charged with possession of a controlled drug-heroin/fentanyl and released on personal recognizance bail.

Detectives casing out the area of Maple and Lowell streets saw a man involved in what looked like illegal drug activity.
"The man, along with some other people went to (a) Manchester Street (home) where detectives were able to speak with them," Hamel said.

This interaction led to Joshua Mailhot, 31, being arrested on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon-a knife and possession with intent to distribute-methamphetamine charges. He was held and is expected to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North today.
Both Mailhot and Parodi have prior arrests on drug charges, according to previous posts on Patch.
