NH AG, Police Search Apartment For Clues In Denise Robert Murder Case

Breaking: Investigators are searching a Londonderry apartment that they hope will lead to a break in the Bedford woman's murder case.

LONDONDERRY, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office as well as police are searching an apartment in Londonderry hoping to find clues in a 2-year-old murder case. Investigators are searching an apartment on Kendall Pond Road in Londonderry as part of the investigation into the murder of Denise Robert, 62, an advertising representative who lived in Bedford. Robert was shot and killed in the North End of Manchester on Aug. 30, 2015, while walking on Ray Street.

Up until this point in the case, police have released limited information about why she was murdered.

“In order to protect the integrity of the on-going investigation, what items are being sought and what, if any, items are located will not be disclosed,” according to Jane Young, an associate attorney general. Robert was an advertising representative for the Union Leader Corp., the parent company of the Neighborhood News chain of weekly newspapers covering numerous communities from Bow to Salem, and had worked for the company for decades. Witnesses reported seeing a red pickup truck leaving the area at about the same time of the shooting. The man was described as young with short hair. Rewards were issued in the case by the newspaper, its foundation, co-workers, and the New Hampshire NewsGuild, the union at the New Hampshire Union Leader. Crimeline also has an active reward for the case.
