Alleged Slashers, Drug Dealers, Others Indicted: Roundup

Nashua woman allegedly served alcohol without a license, Mass. woman charged with drug possession, Londonderry habitual offender indicted.

NASHUA, NH - The following people were indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court recently:

Therese Rootovich, 39, of Ledge Street in Nashua, for felony possession of heroin on Jan. 3, 2016, in Nashua.

Ronald Russell, 35, currently incarcerated, for felony first-degree assault for allegedly stabbing another man in the stomach with a knife on Jan. 17, 2016, in Hudson.

Melissa Scanlon, 36, of Tremont Street in Woburn, MA, for felony possession of a controlled drug-clonazepam, amphetamine, on Jan. 20, 2016, in Nashua.

Neal F. Sevieri, 57, incarcerated, for six counts of felony first-degree assault. On Jan. 19, 2016, he allegedly cut a man in the forehead, stabbed him in the neck, and slashed him in the shoulder after an incident in Nashua.

Melanie Snell, 54, of Constitution Drive in Londonderry, for habitual offender, a felony. On July 31, 2015, she was allegedly driving on Elm Avenue in Hudson after being certified as a habitual offender by the state.

Angel Sostre, 52, with a last known address of Eighth Street in Nashua, for falsifying physical evidence and possession of a narcotic drug-heroin, both felonies. On Feb. 29, 2016, in Nashua, he allegedly removed a hypodermic needle from his pocket and broke it in order to impair police.

Brittany Sprague, 27, of Railroad Square in Nashua, for felony possession of a narcotic drug-heroin on Jan. 1, 2016, in Nashua.

Wilmy Taveras, 22, incarcerated, for possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl with intent to distribute and conspiracy to commit sale of a controlled drug. On Jan. 28, 2016, in Milford, he allegedly worked in concert with Jose Martinez and Alex Diaz to arrange the sale of 100 grams of heroin on Nashua Street.

Hector Velasquez, 50, of Kinsley Street in Nashua, for possession of a narcotic drug-oxycodone hydrochloride, with intent to distribute-second offense and sale of a narcotic drug-oxycodone-second offense, both felonies. On Dec. 1, 2016, in Nashua, he allegedly sold 100 pills – about $2,300 worth of the drug – to an individual working with police. On Jan. 26, 2016, in Nashua, he was allegedly in possession of 200 pills. In September 1993, he was convicted of manufacturing in Springfield MA Superior Court.

Dania Ventura-Fernandez, 22, of West Hollis Street in Nashua, for two counts of licenses required; alcohol, both felonies. On Oct. 9, and Oct. 15, 2015, she allegedly sold a Corona to a police officer and two to five beers to another patron, through a bartender, at La Simpatia Lounge, without a license.
