Man, Out on Bail After Merrimack Assault-Threat Incident, Arrested Again
Police arrested Eric Thibeault on OUI, drug, and breach of bail charges after traffic stop.

MERRIMACK, NH — For the second time this year, a Merrimack man has been arrested and charged by police, according to a press statement. Eric Thibeault, 36, of Greenleaf Street in Merrimack, was arrested on Nov. 23, 2016, for operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, and breach of bail.

Thibeault was stopped, according to Sgt. Gregory Walters of the Merrimack Police Department, on “a minor motor vehicle violation” and after being stopped, allegedly “displayed signs of impairment.” After a brief investigation, he was arrested for OUI and was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana.

Thibeault was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Jan. 5, 2017.
Back in late August, Thibeault was arrested for domestic violence, criminal mischief, and criminal threatening, after allegedly driving his pickup truck onto a family member’s yard.

Two years ago, he was stopped for reportedly speeding and arrested for not having an alcohol ignition interlock circumvention device on his vehicle. The next week, Thibeault was arrested for assault and breach of bail charges.
