Merrimack Forum on Heroin Issues Scheduled for June 29
Police, other orgs host a community discussion about the issue.

From the Merrimack Police Department:
On Monday June 29, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m., Merrimack Police in conjunction with Merrimack Safeguard, New Hampshire Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services, Greater Nashua Public Health and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, will host a community discussion on heroin in Merrimack.
The discussion will begin with several distinguished guest, to include Chief Mark Doyle of the Merrimack Police Department, the Honorable Justice Clifford Kinghorn, Lisa Vasquez of New Hampshire Public Health and Wayne Dutch a pharmacist, who will discuss how heroin has affected all segments of the community. There will also be a question and answer period with the audience.

Merrimack is no different than any other community in the New Hampshire and has seen an increase in heroin overdoses as well as deaths linked to heroin. If you, or someone you know is affected by this deadly drug, join us to learn why someone becomes addicted and what you can do to help them.
The event will be held at the Little Theatre at Merrimack High School 38 McElwain St.
