Authorities Investigating 'Untimely Death' of Nashua Police Officer, 25
He was pronounced dead Wednesday night.

Authorities on Thursday said they are investigating the “untimely death” of a 23-year-old Nashua police officer.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center Wednesday night.

Police said they received a 911 call for an injured man at a home in Pelham on Sherburne Road. First responders found him with a head wound.
Authorities called the death accidental. They said it didn’t involve a firearm.

Investigators were at the home Thursday morning.
Police said they will release more details once an autopsy is completed.
The officer has been on the Nashua force for the last two and a half years.
