Nashua Man Caring for Infant Dies of Heroin Overdose, Mother Charged
Samantha Perkins, 27, of 28 Cross St., Apt. 4, was charged with multiple counts of child endangerment.

A Nashua mother who left her child in the care of a man who died doing heroin last month was charged with multiple counts of child endangerment.
Samantha Perkins, 27, of 28 Cross St., Apt. 4,was arrested Friday on a warrant and released on $10,000 bail.
Police said on April 10, Perkins left her 21-month-old child in the care of three men at her apartment while she drove her other two children somewhere. Police said said they believe Perkins was high at the time.

When she returned home, a 50-year-old man was moved out of the apartment and left outside the building, where he was found dead of an overdose, police said. The man’s name was not released.
Police said they found heroin in Perkins’ apartment.

She was charged with drug possession and three counts of child endangerment. She’s scheduled to appear in court June 8.
