NASHUA, NH — A man from Nashua was arrested earlier this month after police accused him of possessing thousands of child sexual abuse images and videos.

In August 2024, Nashua police received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, accusing a Gate City man of possessing child sexual abuse images. Detectives in the city’s cybercrimes against children unit further the investigation and identified Scott McDougald, 75, of Dartmouth Street in Nashua, as the suspect in the case, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor of the Nashua Police Department.
