'Jack the Snipper,' Convicted of Indecent Exposure in Nashua, Charged Again

A man dubbed “Jack the Snipper,” convicted of indecent exposure in Nashua last year, has been charged with a probation violation.
Jeffrey Gelinas earned the nickname in the summer of 2003, when police said he broke into women’s apartments near the University of New Hampshire and cut off their clothing as they slept. He was convicted of attempted burglary in that case.
This week, Gelinas was charged with a probation violation for not disclosing that he was interviewed in connection with a Salem indecent exposure case, WMUR reported. Gelinas had previously been convicted of indecent exposure in Nashua last year for exposing himself to a girl at Barnes and Noble.

Salem police interviewed Gelinas in connection with a similar incident at a Salem Barnes and Noble, WMUR reported. Gelinas has not been charged in that case.
