Manchester Stalker Accused Of Stalking A Woman In Nashua In May 2025

NASHUA, NH — A convicted stalker from Manchester was arrested earlier this month on a new stalking charge, according to Nashua police.

Christian LaChapelle, 32, was arrested on Sept. 11 on a single felony count of stalking-subsequent.

In late May 2025, police took a report from a woman who accused her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children of violating an active domestic violence order, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor of the Nashua Police Department.

“The victim reported she was picking up her daughter from the school bus,” he said. “While waiting, LaChapelle showed up and stood directly in front of her vehicle. The victim took a video of LaChapelle standing in front of her vehicle.”

The department’s domestic violence unit furthered the investigation, learned he had been convicted previously of stalking, charged him with a felony, and issued a warrant for his arrest. Manchester police arrested LaChapelle on unrelated charges, and they held him at the Hillsborough County Jail until Nashua police picked him up. He was held without bail and arraigned in Nashua District Court on Sept. 14.

Back in April 2024, LaChapelle was accused of threatening a woman with a deadly weapon on two occasions that month. The woman, his ex, later reported the incident to police, and detectives investigated the incident.

“LaChapelle had also recklessly placed two juveniles in danger of bodily injury by displaying the handgun within their proximity,” Cinelli said in a press statement.

Franklin police found LaChapelle at his home and arrested him on the outstanding warrant. He was later charged with three felony counts of domestic violence criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

LaChapelle was indicted on the charges in October 2024.
