Merrimack Man Indicted On Rape Charge: Hillsborough County Superior Court Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Albert Cassella, 67, of Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling a woman on Jan. 14 in Merrimack.

Charles Coolidge, 28, of Balcom Street in Nashua on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, on Nov. 2, 2023, in Nashua.

Thomas Duffy, 44, of no fixed address in Nashua on possession of crack cocaine and possession of buprenorphine charges, both felonies, on Dec. 28, 2023, in Nashua.

Michael Dumas, 44, of Oakridge Avenue in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, on a felony criminal threatening charge. He was accused of pointing a gun at two other people in Pelham on Sept. 30, 2023.

Bruce Fitzpatrick, 32, of Execute Park Drive in Merrimack on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of raping an intimate partner on Sept. 2, 2023, in Merrimack.

Amy Lyn Galanti, 53, of Jameson Place in Reading, Pennsylvania, incarcerated at the Valley Street Jail at the time of the indictment, on attempted theft by deception, forgery, and identity fraud charges, all felonies. She uttered a check made payable to another person, posing as that person, at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Nashua on Jan. 6 and Jan. 17, for $23,935.33, according to indictments.

John Garcia, 53, of East Dunstable Road in Nashua on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine charge in Nashua.

James Geigel, 21, of Tolles Street in Nashua on a felony perjury charge. According to an indictment, he stated he had not seen Brailin Valdez Gonzalez and Braidy Valdez Gonzalez during a November 2022 incident in a court proceeding held on Dec. 20, 2022, in Nashua.

Miguel Gensee, 22, of D Street in Nashua on a felony burglary charge. He was accused of entering a home on Moose Hollow Road in Litchfield on Feb. 4.

Daniel Gillis, 44, of Amherst Street in Nashua on two felony duty to inform charges. He was accused of not informing police of a new address within five business days on July 31, 2023, in Nashua and about terminated employment within five business days on Aug. 16, 2023, in Nashua. Gillis was convicted on a duty to inform charge in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in June 2023.
