Nashua Drug Sweep: 3 Arrested In 'Granite Hammer'

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police arrested three suspects this week in the latest "Granite Hammer" drug sweep, officials announced Friday morning. The suspects were identified as Scott Farnsworth, of Nashua; John Gagnon, of Litchfield; and Spencer Katsohis, of Nashua. The Granite Hammer program is a collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution, especially involving opioids.

"Individuals were arrested for various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity," Nashua police Captain David Bailey said in a statement.

Scott Farnsworth, 23, of Nashua, was charged with selling methamphetamine and possessing the drug. He was held on $30,000 bail.

John Gagnon, 34, of Litchfield, was charged with selling suboxone (second offense) and released on $500 bail.

Spencer Katsohis, 24, of Nashua, was charged with cocaine possession (second offense) and held on $10,000 bail.

Police said anyone with information about illegal drug activity in Nashua should contact the narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.

It was the 15th crime sweep in Nashua so far this year.
