Nashua Teen Indicted On Rape Charge: County Superior Court Roundup

NASHUA, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Ian Sherman, 35, of no fixed address in Nashua on a felony possession of fentanyl-subsequent charge on June 1 in Nashua. He was convicted on an acts prohibited charge in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in October 2021.

Canden Sims, 18, of Congress Street in Nashua on an aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of raping a girl on May 8 in Nashua.

Samuel Stewart, 27, of Bow Lake Road in Northwood on a felony prostitution and related offenses charge. He was accused of offering to pay a girl for oral sex who he thought was under 18 via Snapchat on March 10, 2022, in Hollis.

Federico Taveras, 64, of Newbury Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, on a felony conduct after an accident charge. He was accused of leaving the scene of a crash with a motorcycle with injury in Nashua on July 29.

Lorenzo Tirado, 36, of Woodland Drive in Litchfield on a felony second-degree assault-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Litchfield on Aug. 12.

Gianna Torres, 26, of Crown Street in Nashua on stalking and two domestic violence-stalking-criminal order protection including orders and conditions of bail charges, all felonies. She was accused of texting and calling a protected party on July 3, July 5, and Aug. 9 in Nashua after being convicted of stalking-domestic violence in July 2016 in Nashua District Court.

Christopher Al Torres Cabral, 27, of Alvirne Drive in Hudson on two felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of raping a girl between March 10, 2020, and March 9, 2022, in Hudson.

Leslie Valastro, 60, of Mason Road in Milford on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of touching a girl’s private parts, through clothing or directly, with his tongue between March 1 and June 1 in Milford.

Emmanuel Vasquez, 45, of no fixed address in Nashua on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine charge on June 1 in Nashua.

Dominic Washington, 58, of no fixed address in Nashua on possession of crack cocaine and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug on July 11 in Nashua and, believing an investigation was occurring, removed a glass pipe from his person and threw it down on Holman Street.

Eliana Dominguez, 20, of Congress Street in Nashua on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. Between June 30 and July 29, she was accused of altering five sales receipts, marking down nine items for customers, for a total of $1,022.45, while working at Target in Nashua.
