Kittery Man Arrested on Liability, Stolen Property Charges: Log

Portsmouth Police: Two sexual assault incidents investigated, overdose reported on Taft Road, woman allegedly assaults boyfriend.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - At 5:49 a.m. on Jan. 23, 2016, police were sent to the Marriott on Market Street for a report of a forcible sexual assault incident against a woman by a male suspect and a female friend who was also in the hotel room. The victim was transported to the hospital for a rape kit, according to police.

Mark R. Linkenviz, 33, of State Street in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2016, for resisting arrest or detention and disorderly conduct. Officers were sent to State Street for a report of a fight between two men outside of the building. A number of units were sent to the scene and received conflicting reports on what happened, according to a report. One suspect was later arrested at the intersection of Rock Street and Hanover. EMTs were sent to check on the man but he reportedly refused medical treatment.

Chad M. Bickford, 43, of Wallingford Square in Kittery, ME, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2016, for criminal liability for the conduct of another and receiving stolen property. He was arrested on a walk-in warrant.

At 4:37 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2016, police were sent to Borthwick Avenue for a report of a non-forcible sexual assault that happened in the parking lot.

Daniel Nugent, 25, of Grove Street in Manchester, was arrested at 8:05 a.m. on Jan. 26, 2016, for theft from a building. He was arrested on an out-of-town warrant.

Mary Wydola, 20, of Beechstone Apartments in Portsmouth, was arrested at 6:41 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2016, and charged with domestic violence-simple assault. A man called police alleging that his girlfriend assaulted him and had just left the apartment. Police later spoke with the woman, who alleged that “they both hit each other,” according to the report. She was later arrested.

At 9:55 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2016, police and EMTs were sent to Taft Road for a man overdosing on heroin. He was later transported to the hospital.
