Teen Arrested On Drug Dealing Charge: Portsmouth Police Log
Rye man arrested for trespass, willful concealment, local woman charged with inhaling vapors, and other teens picked up on drug charges.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — A 17-year-old was charged at 9:32 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2017, with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs after a motor vehicle stop on Maplewood Avenue and Woodbury Avenue. Other subjects, according to the report, were taken into protective custody. The teens were all released to their parents.
Richard L. Covino, 31, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2017, on a fugitive from justice charge after police spoke to a man on Congress Street. The warrant was out of Sanford, ME, according to the report.

Heather Leavitt, 42, of Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:12 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2017, for inhaling toxic vapors for effect and default or breach of bail conditions. Officers were sent to Lafayette Road after staff reported that a woman was passed out on the second floor and appeared to be “huffing something,” according to a report. She was revived and arrested.
Christian C. Dawley, 33, of Brackett Road in Rye, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2017, on a bench warrant as well as given a warning for inspection and defective equipment after a stop on Market and Deer streets.

At 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2017, a 16-year-old was charged possession of a controlled/narcotic drug with intent to distribute, a 17-year-old was charged with possession of a controlled/narcotic drug and possession and use of tobacco products by minors, and a 17-year-old was charged with possession and use of tobacco products by minors after police were sent to Hanover Street for a drug offense report. Another teen – a 17-year-old – was taken into protective custody.
At 10:55 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2017, a 16-year-old was charged with possession of a controlled/narcotic drug while a 15-year-old was taken into protective custody on Pierce Island.
Matthew V. Famulari, 34, of Adams Park in Rye, was arrested at 8:25 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2017, for criminal trespass and willful concealment. He was arrested on Blue Heron Drive after police received a complaint from a resident about a man on a bike trespassing on property.
