Candia Man Faces Sexual Assault, Strangulation Charges In Court

Boston man indicted on ID fraud, other charges; Salem man indicted in stolen pizza truck incident; Portsmouth man faces drug theft charges.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Margaret Smith, 35, of Dover Street in Portsmouth on a felony operating while certified as a habitual offender charge. She was accused of driving in Epping on May 11, 2021, after being certified as a habitual offender.

Somant Som, 39, of Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester, Massachusetts, on identity fraud and unauthorized use of propelled vehicle or rented property charges, both felonies. He was accused of defrauding Hertz on Sept. 7, 2019, in Salem and failing to return a Chevrolet Camaro between Sept. 21, and Sept. 25, 2019.

Joshua J. Stanley, 36, of Old Coach Road in Kingston on a domestic violence-simple assault-extended term of imprisonment charge. He was accused of slapping a child in the face due to hostility toward the child’s gender identity on Aug. 1, 2021, in Kingston.

Taylor M. Stathopoulos, 32, of Kirstopher Lane in Raymond on a felony possession of fentanyl and a driving after revocation or suspension charges on Lane Road in Candia Dec. 29, 2020.

Natalie Darlene Talon, 55, of Manchester Street in Manchester on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges (fentanyl and methamphetamine) after an incident in Epping on Sept. 30, 2021.

Rochelle Ayerin Vilchez, 33, of Union Street in Methuen, MA, on two felony identity fraud charges. She was accused of posing as another person in an effort to defraud Verizon FIOS between April 1 and April 30, 2019, and defraud Capital One on April 24, 2019, in Derry.

David Patrick Virgue, 33, of Linwood Avenue in Salem on two felony theft by unauthorized taking charges. He was accused of exercising control over food and a box truck owned by Sal’s Pizza in Salem on Aug. 1, 2021.

Zachary Marshall Wildman, 47, of Foxcross Circle in Concord on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from Walmart in Salem on Aug. 16, 2021. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted twice before of theft.

Devon Duane Crawford, 35, of Baboosic Lake Road in Amherst on a felony criminal mischief charge as well as duty to report oil spillage and criminal mischief charges. He was accused of discharging fuel into the garage unit and drainage system of a property in Londonderry on Feb. 25, 2021.

Travis Cross, 39, of State Street in Portsmouth on possession of alprazolam, possession of buprenorphine, attempted theft by unauthorized taking, and two receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of retaining the drugs from a Portsmouth resident on Aug. 29, 2021. Twice before, according to the indictment, he has been convicted on theft charges.

Kerri K. Cunniff, 36, of Hiawatha Road in Woburn, MA, on aggravated driving while intoxicated and possession of fentanyl and fluorfentanyl mix charges. She was accused of driving on Route 101 west near the Exit 10 offramp in Exeter while under the influence of drugs and causing a collision with a motorcycle that led to serious bodily injury on July 5, 2021.

William Cyr, 37, of Langford Road in Candia on aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence and second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charges, both felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting and strangling a woman on Aug. 21, 2021, in Candia.
