Loudon Man Faces Stalking, Bail Charges: Concord Police Log

Concord, Boscawen residents charged with drunken driving; man charged twice in 6 hours; felon accused of unauthorized use of rental vehicle.

CONCORD, NH — Miles A. Anderson, 32, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. on July 5, 2021, on a theft by unauthorized taking charge-less than $1,000 and a warrant. Later, Anderson was charged with a felony controlled drug: acts prohibited charge, according to the Merrimack County Superior Court. Police were sent to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street around 1 p.m. on May 14 for a report of a theft. An employee accused Anderson of stealing about $9 worth of food items. The employee said, “Miles kept looking at her” while he was placing items in his backpack, the report said. Anderson tried to buy a soda, she said, but then, put it back. He did this a second time, too, the report stated, and then left the store. The employee said she knew Anderson from previous theft incidents, an affidavit said, but the officer could not identify him on the surveillance footage. Later, at a homeless camp, the officer spoke to Anderson who said he was “probably” at the store, the report said. When asked about the theft, he denied it, the affidavit said. But later, when asked about it again, the affidavit said he replied, “If I did, I’m sorry.” He was arrested later and held without bail. Anderson is due back in superior court for a dispositional conference on Sept. 27.

Brian Szarka, 51, of Concord received a summons at 8:44 p.m. on July 5, on two theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charges after an incident on Sheep Davis Road.

Abdifatah S. Shegow, born 2000, of Boscawen was arrested at 10:22 p.m. on July 4 on driving under the influence and conduct after an accident charges after an incident on Westbourne Road.

Timothy John Kingsbury, 36, of Currier Road in Loudon was arrested at 6:50 p.m. on July 2 on stalking and breach of bail charges. Around 7:15 p.m. on June 28, an officer stopped a Chevrolet Cavalier at South State and Harrison streets and during the stop, the officer learned Kingsbury had a restraining order against him by a woman who was inside the car. Dispatch could not confirm the order due to the system being down while the woman said she called the court and had the order lifted, a report stated. Later, the order was faxed to the officer and found to be active. A warrant was issued for his arrest, he was charged, and held without bail.

Samuel H. Broadbent, born 1996, of Concord was arrested at midnight on July 1 on a driving under the influence charge after an incident on Brook Street.

Amanda Fortin, 37, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at noon on June 29 on a possession of a controlled drug charge and a bench warrant after an incident at Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street. According to scanner chatter, Fortin was wanted by Pembroke police and was accused of being holed up in the bathroom of the store. Fortin surrendered not long after police arrived. She also faces a possession of a controlled drug charge from an incident in the Firehouse Block Garage on North State Street. Fortin is due in Merrimack County Superior Court for arraignment on July 26. Fortin was accused of carjackings in a number of states in 2019 and reportedly told police that she was controlled by aliens.

Joshua Scott Ellsworth, 32, of Concord received a summons at 12:10 p.m. on June 28 on an open container charge after an incident on Storrs Street. He was arrested again at 6:36 p.m. on June 28 on theft by unauthorized taking, a felony, due to two prior convictions, as well as criminal mischief and criminal trespass charges after an incident at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road. Ellsworth is back in superior court for a dispositional conference on Sept. 2.

Janet Laurie Smith, born 1967, of Concord was arrested at 3:03 p.m. on June 27 on three bench warrants after an incident on North Main Street.

Jennifer Marie Karl, 39, of Concord was arrested at 10:38 a.m. on June 24 on a felony unauthorized use; rented vehicle-$1,500+ after an incident with U-Haul on Stickney Avenue. She is due in Merrimack County Superior Court for arraignment on Aug. 19. Karl is a felon due to prior charges including felony drug possession out of Manchester in January 2011. She has also faced drug charges in Concord in 2017, drug and a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge out of Bow in 2017, and a theft charge in Concord in 2017.

Zachary Marshall Wildman, 46, of Concord received a summons at 12:33 p.m. on June 26 on a warrant and a bench warrant.

Ryan D. DeGreenia, 35, of Manchester was arrested at 2:18 p.m. on June 15 on a warrant after an incident at Sam’s Club on Sheep Davis Road. He has felony and misdemeanor drug possession charges out of Webster from January. DeGreenia is due back in superior court for an arraignment on Aug. 26.

Jason M. Dore, 35, of Boscawen was arrested at 8:02 a.m. on June 14 on theft by deception-less than $1,000 and theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charges after an incident at Walmart on Loudon Road.

Hunter Levesque, born 2002, of Concord was arrested on a bench warrant at 3:07 a.m. on June 11 after an incident at the Citizens Bank on Capital Plaza.

Colby S. Carroll, born 1990, of Pembroke received a summons on a bench warrant at 10:01 p.m. on April 18 after an incident on Manchester Street.
